Margaret Binns

Event Planner

margaret Margaret has been planning events in the Greater Toronto Area for over 20 years. She manages all aspects of events, including site selection, contract negotiation, budget management, creative aspects, registration, rooming list management, entertainment bookings, vendor arrangements and tradeshow set-up.

Margaret is a detailed, organized, and committed event planner, and has experience planning events in both the corporate and non-profit sector, including corporate meetings and conferences, golf tournaments, and galas. She has valuable insight in planning events specifically tailored to a wide variety of needs, and uses her years of experience to ensure the events run smoothly from start to finish.

She believes that the client/planner/supplier relationship is paramount, and that listening to her clients and helping them to achieve their goals for a successful event is extremely important. Her upbeat attitude, commitment and attention to detail, have resulted in hundred of successful events over the years.

Margaret’s depth of knowledge is invaluable. There are many tasks that can easily be overlooked, but her experience provides a wealth of information to share with the client, which ultimately translates into a smooth, calm and efficient planning process.

Margaret is an active member of the event planning industry and has been a member of the Toronto Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), since 2004. She believes in giving back to the industry by volunteering her time and expertise. She currently sits on the MPI TEC Committee (Toronto Education Conference), which holds its yearly event in June.
